Welcome to the world of Ryan Jones. My sound is rooted in Folk-Americana with shades of Soft Rock, Blues, Country and Indie.
I strive to spread positivity and light wherever I go. I aim to write authentic songs from the heart and make a connection with the listener, having been inspired by artists such as Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, Jeremy Loops and Ziggy Alberts to name a few. Based in Pretoria, South Africa, with roots in KZN, my goal is to captivate audiences with heartfelt tunes that speak of life, love, nature, and hope.
Offering performances as a solo act, duo, or full band, I can tailors each experience for any event, weddings, corporate gatherings, and festivals. A sound engineer by qualification, I always try to ensure that every detail is perfect, bringing a touch of humour as well to entertain and engage audiences of any age.

A cover of Dial Drunk by Noah Kahan, done with my good friend Callum Stoltz. We did this shortly before my trip to Abu Dhabi and it was great fun recording it.
GROWING PAINS
A collaboration with incredibly talented Nicola McLeod - We had committed to doing a song together for the longest time. It resulted in Nicola recording her lyrics in South Africa and me recording my part in Abu Dhabi and the brilliant producer Rudolph Botha.
